1. Acknowledge that you are a sinner.
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23)
2. Believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins and was resurrected.
"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us"
(Romans 5:8)
"Christ died for our sins... he buried... and was raised on the third day" (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).
3. Turning in faith to Jesus Christ by praying a prayer like this:
"Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am sinful and I need your forgiveness. I believe that you died and rose
again to pay the penalty for my sin. I now receive you as my savior. Please forgive me and give
me eternal life. Amen."
